Jesse James Hollywood Caught With Contraband
(AP)
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.
A Santa Barbara judge has ordered that Jesse James Hollywood be shackled during court appearances.
The decision came after the kidnapping and murder suspect was allegedly caught with a makeshift rope and knives in his jail cell.
Hollywood is accused of orchestrating the August 2000 kidnapping and murder of a 15-year-old boy from the San Fernando Valley as part of a feud he had with the teen's older half brother over a drug debt.
Hollywood fled the country and was captured in Brazil last March.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
