(Iowa City - KCRG) -- KCRG-TV9 News has new information on how Jetseta Gage died. Johnson County Attorney J. Patrick White believes he knows who killed the 10-year-old Cedar Rapids girl.

There is little surprise Roger Paul Bentley was formally charged with first degree murder and first degree kidnapping. He is the only suspect in the case.

Bentley did not need to appear on closed circuit television for his latest hearing where trial information was made public. White formally accused Bentley of the first degree murder and kidnapping of Jetseta. The trial information report details what happened that night in the mobile home.

On March 24th, around the time Jetseta's grandmother was calling police to report the missing girl, prosecutors say Bentley was headed to a mobile home in rural Johnson County. They believe he had the 10-year-old with him.

According to the report, Bentley planned to sexually abuse Jetseta from the time he kidnapped her. The report also states Bentley killed Jetseta "with malice aforethought, willfully, deliberately and with premeditation."

The document details how investigators believe Bentley killed Jetseta, saying he bound her feet and tied a plastic bag around her head, which cut off her supply of oxygen.

It says Bentley then hid Jetseta's body in a cabinet in the empty mobile home.

Bentley's next hearing will be at the Johnson County Courthouse on April 14th. It is his arraignment. He will plead guilty or not guilty.

White said Bentley does not have to be in courtroom to enter a plea. Most Iowa defendants choose to write down their plea.
