Death Row Romance

Listen to the item

When a two year old died as the result of a fire, Kenny Richey was convicted of capital murder. He has been on death row in Ohio for 18 years.

Amnesty International has described Kenny’s as ‘the most compelling case of innocence on death row’ and more than 100 MPs are backing his appeal.

Kenny needs the continued support of fiancée Karen Richey (nee Torley) of Glasgow...

Update: Kenny's case has been referred to the US state's Supreme Court for examination. If found unsafe, he should be re-tried or released.
