Police Desperate For Evidence In Murder Case
Search Littlejohns Home For Anything Linking Him To Saint Guillen's Rape And Murder
(CBS)
South Jamaica
Detectives carried out large boxes from the home of Darryl Littlejohn on Saturday, desperate for any physical evidence that might tie him to the rape and murder of 24-year-old graduate student Imette Saint Guillen.
Littlejohn remains the chief suspect in the case but has not been charged. Two weeks after the killing, police have yet to recover any hard evidence.
DNA tests on several pieces of evidence have yet to implicate Littlejohn. Despite phone records that place Littlejohn near the place where Saint Guillen's body was found, police have yet to charge the bouncer.
Aside from re-examining the house, police are also interviewing people in the neighborhood, asking neighbors new questions about who may have been seen here with Littlejohn, perhaps trying to link him to other recent attacks.
