PONTE VEDRA BEACH -- A 42-year old man was arrested in Ponte Vedra Beach, Tuesday afternoon on child molestation charges. There was an outstanding warrant for Christopher Charles Friley out of Cherokee County, Georgia.

A Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy says Friley allegedly molested a 4-year-old girl in Acworth, Georgia.

The deputy says Friley took off after being questioned last month.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office arrested Friley at a home on Cobia Street.

Friley will stay in the St. Johns County jail
pending extradition to Georgia.
