Timothy Lee Boggs Moves Into H Street Residence

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- After spending the weekend living at Hotel Berry in downtown Sacramento, convicted child molester Timothy Lee Boggs has a new place to live.Boggs' new residence is 816 H St. in downtown Sacramento, right across from the Sacramento County courthouse. By midday Monday, Boggs had turned in his key at Hotel Berry after management there asked him to leave."He must keep the GPS on, he must check in with us, let us know when things are changing," said Cindy Radavesky with the Department of Mental Health. "He's supposed to keep in close communication and contact."
Though he is now a free man and can go anywhere he wants, Boggs must follow some rules.Boggs cannot loiter within a quarter-mile of a school and he is forbidden from going to parks, picnic areas, pools or beaches. Boggs is also prohibited from associating with other child molesters or adults who have children.As part of his sentence, Boggs will be required to undergo one-on-one group therapy for at least the first year of his release. While the state has picked up the Boggs' bills for housing for his first month of release, he is on his own to find a job.The Megan's Law Web site lists 152 registered sex offenders living in downtown Sacramento's 95814 area code.
