Delray Beach· A 19-year-old man on probation for sexually assaulting children was arrested Saturday for allegedly molesting children again, police said.
Emanuel Moreland of Delray Beach was sentenced to three years of probation eight months ago for committing lewd acts on children younger than 12, the same charges he was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Saturday, police said.
While baby-sitting five children Thursday, Moreland sent the boys out to play but kept the girls inside where he showed them pornographic DVDs and fondled them, his arrest report said.
The children's mother left the home about 1:30 p.m. to run errands, the report said. When she left, Moreland went back to his apartment and grabbed the DVDs, the report said.
When the girls, ages 9 and 6, tried to leave, Moreland told them: "You cannot go out the door," the report said.
At one point, they did go outside, but he yelled through the kitchen: "Come back in this house, or I'll tell your mama," the report said. Not wanting to get in trouble with their mother, they girls came back.
That's when he asked if they wanted to watch "a nasty movie," the report said. They said no, but he pressed play anyway, the report said. As the movie played, Moreland sat between the girls and molested them, the report said.
He later asked if they wanted to have sex with him, to which the girls replied no, Moreland's arrest report said.
When the girl's mother came home, they told her what happened, and she and friend confronted Moreland, who denied touching the victims inappropriately.
It appears the girls' mother didn't knew about Moreland's criminal history, police said.
Moreland was arrested in September 2002 on two counts of fondling a child younger than 12 and one count of battery of a child, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records. He was tried as an adult and pleaded guilty in August, the records show.
